My way; If I were a stylist

This is just one of the types of styles that I would wear, and would advise others to as well. High waisted skirts are so in right now, and have been for the past 6 months, so get all your high waisted skirts and start wearing them, cause soon they might fade out of fashion. Band/printed t-shirts are in as well and I very much doubt they will ever go out of fashion really...so it might be a good idea to invest in a good ol' band t-shirt. (beyond retro, rokit all brick lane area have them and at a very GOOD price...what can I say vintage all the way.)  

Chanel quited chain bags are a MUST have; they look cool, and are extremely HOT with both the stars and the fashioners in london. Okay, so they might be a bit pricey, which I understand, so why not go to Absolute Vintage (brick lane area) and get your vintage chanel bag for a cheap £100 - £150 and feel part of the 'in-crowd.' Good ol' vintage I tell ya.

Gucci have not only become extremely popular with their new bag designs this year but also their new shoe line. Everyone is wearing them, everyone is copying them; from KG to Topshop to Primark. So whatever your budget, go out and get some Gucci shoes!!

Lastly, rings, rings, and more rings... you can't wear enough or get enough... go to vintage shops and vintage markets; portobello market on a sunday and beyond retro, absolute vintage, pop boutique and rokit, do some amazing ones! And why not class it up a bit with maybe a links bracelet or a Pandora one.
